Foster Parent Reimbursement Change

Beginning July 1, 2017 DFCS has implemented a change to RBWO standard 11.33 that states “CPA’s requesting reimbursement must submit receipts for clothing within three (3) months of purchase.” In order to comply with this new rule, FaithBridge has updated our reimbursement policy and is requiring all reimbursements from foster parents to be submitted to their consultant or mailed within 45 days of the purchase date. This will allow for FaithBridge to process the payment and mail the original receipts to DFCS within the 90 day time frame.

When foster parents submit receipts, items needs to be on separate receipts. For example, clothing, medication and incidentals (diapers, car seats and anything not clothing or medicine related) all need to be separated. Also, children cannot be combined so each child will need their own receipt.

Please also note that due to the end of the DFCS fiscal year, if you have any purchases that were made prior to July 1, 2017 they will need to be turned in to your consultant or mailed by August 15th, 2017 or FaithBridge will not be able to reimburse you.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the reimbursement process, please let your consultant know.
