Meet Samantha*

She’s like a lot of little girls. She loves playing with her American Girl doll. She’s smart. She’s funny. She’s outgoing. And just like every little girl, Samantha* wants a family.

From the outside looking in, Samantha may look like she’s had a “normal” life. But she hasn’t. Her biological mother had substance abuse issues and couldn’t care for her. Samantha lived with a godmother at one point, was placed in a regular foster home and then landed in a FaithBridge foster home. She’s endured more upheaval than any child should.

Yet those around her describe her as “a real joy to be around. She’s very sweet and loving and laughs a lot”. She loves school and wants to go to college when she grows up.

Samantha’s bonded to her FaithBridge family and wants to be with them “forever”.

There are thousands of children like Samantha throughout Georgia. Children who just want a family to love and protect them. Help us help these children – become involved in foster care!
