Meet Jessica*
Rejection is painful and can be difficult for anyone to handle. But being rejected by family can be unbearable. But for 15-year-old Jessica, she did not allow this rejection to keep her from enjoying her life and connecting to people who care about her.
Jessica is a social butterfly and she is very involved in school and sports. She was adopted by one of her teachers after she spent years in foster care bouncing from home to home. Jessica’s adoptive mother exemplifies a neighbor who saw something special in a young person and wanted to invest in helping their light – shine.
Please join Jessica in her prayers as she prepares for college in less than a year and that she realizes God’s plan for her life. Also, pray that Jessica finds healing and comfort, as well as her biological family.
