Meet Wendy*

Wendy’s parents are battling addictions to various narcotics. Her family was together until they lost their home. From there, they moved from place to place, unable maintain consistent housing. Wendy and her two younger siblings also suffered from medical neglect, so they were eventually brought into the foster care system.

Ten-year-old Wendy is a true social butterfly, and if you meet her, she’ll likely make you laugh with her sense of humor. She thrives both at school and on the soccer field and always pauses from what she’s doing to help care for her younger siblings. As a born leader, Wendy speaks her mind and stands up for her beliefs with optimism and perseverance.

Wendy prays for her parents every night.

Please join Wendy in her prayers for her parents and those of so many children who are struggling.
