Institute Session: The Ezell Family

Panel Discussion: The Mission of Fostering

Serving in ministry can be challenging. When that ministry is in your home 24/7, it can be downright messy. There are days when everyone’s emotions and comfort levels are all over the charts and don’t feel like they’ll ever align. It feels like the children who you’re hoping will find Jesus are not. In this session the Ezell family will help us see the importance of having a foundational focus of faith that is rooted deeply in scripture as well as ways to build support as a family on the fostering journey. You will learn ways to lean into God’s promises so that you don’t lose heart when it feels like all hope is lost.

Panel Discussion: When Cultures Collide – Supporting Those in Your Care (bio and foster/adopted)

Everyone has their own experience of what behaviors, activities, and habits are considered normal – family cultures are colliding. The Ezell family will share their personal experience of adding new siblings, blending cultural differences, and navigating behavioral issues. They will discuss the impact welcoming children, young and older, has had in their family.
