FaithBridge Foster Care will Host Annual Golf Tournament on June 8, 2010

FaithBridge Foster Care will host the 2010 Foster Care Charity Golf Classic on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Bridge Mill Athletic Club in Canton, Georgia. The cost is $500 per foursome or $135 per individual, and proceeds fund academic and enrichment scholarships for foster children. Golfers can register online at www.faithbridgefostercare.org/golf.

"This is our third year hosting this event and each year has been bigger and better than the last," said Wayne Stolz, director of the event. "Participants not only get to enjoy a fun day of golf on one of the best golf courses in Atlanta, but they help us raise funds that give Georgia's foster children the chance to enjoy activities like summer camps, music lessons and athletics."  

Tournament-day registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on June 8 at Bridge Mill Athletic Club, which has a hole featuring an island green that was named one of the AJC's Dream 18 holes. The four-man scramble tournament begins at 10:00 a.m. with a shot-gun start. After the tournament, there will be a buffet dinner and awards ceremony where prizes will be given out to men and women in several categories.
