Orientation: Introduction to Christian Foster Care
Ministry
Individuals and couples who are interested in
learning more about fostering or volunteering with FaithBridge
Foster Care, or simply more about our approach, are invited to join
us at one of our monthly orientation sessions. These two-hour
sessions will introduce you to our country's foster care crisis,
our unique Community of Care model and more.
Weekend Impact Training
If you have attended the orientation session
and are ready to take the next step, the weekend Impact training is
an intensive two and a half day session designed to prepare a
couple for the physical, emotional and spiritual demands of foster
care. Using mini workshops, we touch on a variety of important
topics, including welcoming a new foster child, managing discipline
and nurturing your biological family. Through prayer and
conversation, we encourage participants to examine their hearts in
order to determine if foster care is the right choice for their
family.
