About Perimeter's foster care ministry

Perimeter Church announced its foster care ministry, called Promise686, in September 2009.

Impact

Foster Care Advocate Tim Rider says, "Thanks to FaithBridge Foster Care, when an abused, abandoned or neglected child shows up at our church we know what to do. Through our foster and adoption ministry, Promise686, we are a part of the foster care crisis solution and we desire to deploy people in the communities we serve."

Perimeter Pastor David McNeely adds, "I don't know how to equip people to be foster care parents. What I do know is that we as pastors and leaders in our church are called to equip God's people to do the work of the ministry. And that's what [FaithBridge] does."
